Summer Leader Training
Required for ALL summer volunteer leaders.
The Woods Project summer leader training spans 2 days and will be held at our offices directly behind the American Red Cross building (2700 Southwest Freeway, Houston, TX, 77098). This training is for our summer trip leaders only. The training covers important information on procedures, policies, and programming through the incorporation of presentation, discussion, scenarios, and hands-on gear handling.
Summer leaders are required to attend 1 of the 2 available sessions.
Leader training #1 – Saturday, May 18 – Sunday, May 19: REGISTER HERE
Leader training #2 – Saturday, June 1 – Sunday, June 2: REGISTER HERE
Please register for one of the trainings if you have been assigned as a Summer Leader for the 2024 trips.
