Do you know an experienced backpacker or outdoor person who would like to join us this summer? We are still looking to fill a few volunteer spots for our upcoming summer trip.
Specifically, we are looking to fill the following roles:
- TWO Head Trip Leaders in Donner Pass from July 11 – 25 (male or female): The Head Trip Leader is responsible for ensuring the successful completion of the backpack trip. Above all, the Head Trip Leader is tasked with ensuring that students and leaders are aware of safety being a priority. A person interested in this role should have extensive backpack experience and be comfortable making decisions for a group of 12 people in the woods.
- ONE Head Trip Leader in Donner Pass from July 18 – Aug 1 (male or female): The Head Trip Leader is responsible for ensuring the successful completion of the backpack trip. Above all, the Head Trip Leader is tasked with ensuring that students and leaders are aware of safety being a priority. A person interested in this role should have extensive backpack experience and be comfortable making decisions for a group of 12 people in the woods.
- ONE Assistant Trip Leader in Glacier from July 18 – August 1 (female): Assistant Trip Leaders are expected to assist the Head Trip Leaders in ensuring that TWP trips are safe, successful, and appropriate for participants. The ATL will need to assume the duties of the Head Trip Leader in the event of the Head Trip Leader becoming unable to lead the trip. We are looking for a female and she should be willing to spend time in the woods, but does not have to be an experienced backpacker.
