The Woods Project has returned from another successful summer program in California and Montana with 143 students and 43 volunteer leaders getting to have the experience of a lifetime. These students were asked to challenge themselves both physically and mentally and they were able to rise to and exceed those challenges.
This year, we increased our focus on grit, perseverance, social intelligence, zest, curiosity, independence, and self-control. The students we worked with pushed hard through the obstacles and walked away with a better sense of self and a wider view of the world.
Please take a minute to watch our video below highlighting a few things our students learned from their life-changing two weeks in the woods.
