Event Support Volunteer
Do you like going the extra mile? We need a handful of volunteers that can help before and at times after an event. We have two categories of events: support for weekend trip departures and support for general events.
Support for Weekend Trip Departures involves arriving 30 minutes before the students arrive. Tasks can include helping with food, helping staff load supplies, student check-in, and directing students to the correct bus. After the bus has departed you help with clean-up and taking things back to the office.
Support for General Events usually involves showing up 30 to 45 minutes before other volunteers and helping with food set up, gate management, or volunteer check-in. It helps to have volunteered at a prior TWP event. The shift is also shorter since the support volunteers are not expected to stay through the entire event.
The location will be listed after each shift. Also. Specific instructions will be sent out a few days before the shift. I will add the contact information for the staff person in charge during your shift.
