Airport Day – Donner Group 3
It’s AIRPORT DAY!
We need your help! Join The Woods Project at both George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and or William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) as we send off nearly 200 students and 60 volunteers for their life-changing 2 week wilderness immersion experiences in California and Washington.
We have 6 flights departing between June 16th through July 15th. For many of our students, this will be their first time on a plane – an exciting and nervous time! We need volunteers on the ground to help our student groups maneuver through the check-in process along with helping to set up and distribute materials they will need for their journey. This is a great way to connect with our students and encourage them as they embark on their journey.
Parking: Volunteers can park close to the Terminals or choose satellite parking. Please allow adequate time to get to the terminals, if you decide on satellite parking.
