SUMMARY:Event Support Volunteer
DESCRIPTION:Do you like going the extra mile? We need a handful of volunteers that can help before and at times after an event. We have two categories of events: support for weekend trip departures and support for general events. \nSupport for Weekend Trip Departures involves arriving 30 minutes before the students arrive. Tasks can include helping with food\, helping staff load supplies\, student check-in\, and directing students to the correct bus. After the bus has departed you help with clean-up and taking things back to the office. \nSupport for General Events usually involves showing up 30 to 45 minutes before other volunteers and helping with food set up\, gate management\, or volunteer check-in. It helps to have volunteered at a prior TWP event. The shift is also shorter since the support volunteers are not expected to stay through the entire event. \nThe location will be listed after each shift. Also. Specific instructions will be sent out a few days before the shift. I will add the contact information for the staff person in charge during your shift. SUMMARY:First Aid Inventory & Sorting
DESCRIPTION:First Aid Inventory & Sorting \nWednesday\, December 2\, 2026; 5:30 to 8 pm \nDo you like sorting? At the end of every summer\, we have to unpack every single first aid kit\, check expiration dates\, clean bags and inventory what can be used in our upcoming program year. This event will help us get bags ready for the first aid restock in the spring.  If you are available to donate your time\, it will be greatly appreciated! \nWear comfortable clothing and bring a refillable water bottle. Sandwiches and snacks will be provided. \nOur meeting will be on the third floor of The American Red Cross building (2700 Southwest Freeway) BEHIND the main building\, connected to the parking garage. Please drive to the right side of the building where either\, the gate will be open\, or a member of our staff will await you.
