SUMMARY:Virtual: Fall Trip Leader Orientation
DESCRIPTION:For those that are unavailable for the in-person class we have scheduled a virtual trip leader orientation. It is scheduled for Wednesday\, October 15 at 6:30 pm. It will be held over Zoom. The Zoom link will be sent out a few days before the class. Attendees will be required to have their cameras on during the class. \nOrientation Topics: \n\nThe Woods Project Introduction\nVolunteer Opportunities\nWeekend Trip Outline\nLeader Roles and Responsibilities\nSafety and Abuse Prevention Reminders\n\nThis session is required for first-time weekend trip volunteers. If you know of any adults that might also be interested\, please pass on the date and have them sign up. We have a minimum age requirement of 23 years old. \nREGISTER HERE (Zoom link will be sent out to those that register) \nIf this is your first event with The Woods Project\, please click here to complete our Event Volunteer  Form. DESCRIPTION:Lake Houston Camping\nThis will be a new location for a weekend trip and we are excited! This trip will involve overnight camping\, some day hikes\, along with a visit to the local nature center. It is a beautiful site and we are looking forward to introducing our students and trip leaders to what it has to offer. Transportation will be provided. Registration deadline 10/10/25 \nREGISTER HERE!  \nPlease note:  The trip signup is your opportunity to make your preferences and availability for our weekend trips known.  We will make our best effort to place you on the trip(s) that you have requested.  However\, due to limits on capacity\, as well as the need to maintain a reasonable adult:student ratio\, there may be trips where we do not have space for every leader who would like to attend. We will follow up by email 1-2 weeks prior to our weekend trips with details and all the information you will need for attending.  Thank you!
