DESCRIPTION:Brazos Bend State Park\nBrazos Bend State Park: This will be our spring Junior Leaders Program trip and will focus on eco-therapy and stargazing. Brazos Bend is known for its alligator population and unique features to this part of Texas\, so come ready to see some incredible wildlife while spending the day outside exploring. Both Friday and Saturday nights will be spent camping at Brazos Bend.

SUMMARY:Spring Weekend Trip #3
DESCRIPTION:Huntsville State Park and Sam Houston National Park\nHuntsville State Park/Kayaking:  The Woods Project will once again be partnering with Texas Parks and Wildlife through Texas Outdoor Families. On Saturday\, the group will be split into two so everyone will spend a half day of out on the water kayaking and the other half day hiking\, geocaching\, and fishing. If you have your own boat\, we encourage you to bring it along! \nSam Houston National Forest: This is a great opportunity for your students and leaders to have a glimpse of what to expect on their summer trip. We will have four groups hiking the Four Notch Loop and the Lone Star Hiking Trail. The groups will hike about 10 miles total over the course of Saturday and Sunday. We are looking for folks of all skill levels – from first-time backpackers to experts! \nREGISTER HERE! \nPlease note:  The trip signup is your opportunity to make your preferences and availability for our weekend trips known.  We will make our best effort to place you on the trip(s) that you have requested.  However\, due to limits on capacity\, as well as the need to maintain a reasonable adult:student ratio\, there may be trips where we do not have space for every leader who would like to attend. We will follow up by email 1-2 weeks prior to our weekend trips with details and all the information you will need for attending.  Thank you!
