SUMMARY:Canceled- MLK Day of Service- Gear Inventory & Tent Set up
DESCRIPTION:Event Canceled due to inclement weather. \nThis is our biggest gear volunteer day of the year!  On this day\, we will count all of our gear so that we will be prepared for spring and summer trips\, as well as set up all of our tents to ensure that they are in good working order after so much use in the prior summer and fall! \nWe will meet at The Woods Project Warehouse located on 6910 Renwick at 8:45am in order to begin at 9am.  A group will head out to Bayland Park for tent setup\, and the remainder will stay at the warehouse for gear inventory. \nPlease dress comfortably\, and bring a refillable water bottle.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided. \nIf you have not volunteered with us before\, please fill out our event volunteer form ahead of time for yourself and for anyone that comes with you. \nIf you have any questions\, please contact Diana Liga at diana@thewoodsproject.org.

SUMMARY:Wilderness First Aid (WFA)
DESCRIPTION:Are you hoping to be a volunteer with The Woods Project this summer\, or participate in some other upcoming wilderness experience?  If so\, this might be the course for you!  The Woods Project will be hosting a Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course\, which will take place all day on Saturday\, January 20th and Sunday\, January 21st.  Cost is $210 ($150 for TWP leaders) per participant for WFA\, and there will also be a CPR certification option for $40. \nREGISTER HERE if you would like to attend.
