DESCRIPTION:Huntsville State Park or Sam Houston National Forest\nHuntsville State Park:  Sign up today for a weekend filled with plenty of water activities. The group of students and volunteers will spend half of their day canoeing and the other half kayaking with some fun group games mixed in. All skill levels welcome and appreciated! Both Friday and Saturday nights will be spent camping at Huntsville State Park.\n \nSam Houston National Forest:  This is a great opportunity for your students and leaders to have a glimpse of what to expect on their summer trip. We will have four groups hiking the Four Notch Loop and the Lone Star Hiking Trail. The groups will hike about 10 miles total over the course of Saturday and Sunday. We are looking for folks of all skill levels – from first-time backpackers to experts!\n \nREGISTER HERE! \nPlease note:  The trip signup is your opportunity to make your preferences and availability for our weekend trips known.  We will make our best effort to place you on the trip(s) that you have requested.  However\, due to limits on capacity\, as well as the need to maintain a reasonable adult:student ratio\, there may be trips where we do not have space for every leader who would like to attend. We will follow up by email 1-2 weeks prior to our weekend trips with details and all the information you will need for attending.  Thank you!

DESCRIPTION:JLP Spring Weekend Trip\nTwo Creeks Ranch: This weekend trip will wrap up the spring semester for our Junior Leaders Program students prior to their summer trip. It will provide them an opportunity to give and receive feedback on JLP programming for the 2022-2023 school year. It will also give newer JLP recruits a chance to experience a weekend trip led and facilitated by students.
