Can we count on you to walk with us?

walk for the woods project

YOU are invited to celebrate TWP students by participating in the 2020 virtual Walk for The Woods Project, presented by ENGIE, May 15 – 17, 2020.

Can we count on you?

Join us this year as a virtual Walk participant. This is a real walk! You get to choose your own course and what time you start, anytime between May 15th – May 17th

Regular physical activity is one way to keep your mind and body healthy. Lace up your shoes and Walk for The Woods Project! Your safety is our top priority. Please follow Centers for Disease Control and local municipality physical distancing guidelines.

With your support, The Woods Project creates experiences where students from low income communities have no choice but to develop the skills needed to overcome challenges and change their own life trajectories.

Thanks to my TWP summer trip, I learned to believe in my abilities and the power of being able to grow as I go. Fear should not be a factor in taking the path less traveled. If I had not realized this, I would have never considered pursuing my college education at the University of Chicago!
